Terms of Service

These terms form an agreement between you, or the organisation you act for, and Sigma AI FZE ("Sigma AI", "we", "us"). They apply to this website and to every Sigma AI service: our web and mobile applications, APIs and the features they include (the "services"). By accepting an invitation, creating or using an account, or using the website, you agree to them. If you act for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it. Signed enterprise and government agreements take precedence where they differ.

The service

Features are provided as they exist at the time. We improve the services continuously and may change or retire parts of them; we give notice of a material reduction of a paid service where reasonably practical. Items we describe as on our roadmap are plans, not commitments.

Your content is yours

You and your organisation own the content you put into the services, on every plan, and can export it in open formats at any time, with no exit fee. We hold only the limited licence needed to store, display and process that content to run the services for you. We act as your organisation's processor, and we never train AI models on your private content.

Accounts and acceptable use

Keep passwords, codes and API keys secure; you are responsible for activity under your account and its API keys. Do not use the services to:

• break the law, or store or share content you have no right to use;
• process personal data without a lawful basis;
• probe, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the services or other customers' data;
• resell, copy or bulk-extract the services (exporting your own data is always allowed).

We may suspend access that puts the services, other customers or other people at risk, and warn you first where practical.

Your data and its accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data you submit through the services, including data a service sends to another party on your instructions. We may check it and tell you what we find, but we do not correct it for you.

Plans, fees and payment

Some services have free plans or trials and others are paid; what each includes is shown on the service's page, in your account or on your order. Paid prices and terms are those shown when you accept a plan or on your order. Prices are in UAE dirhams (AED) unless your order says otherwise, are billed in advance and exclude taxes such as UAE VAT, which we add where they apply. A first period may be shorter than a full period and is then charged pro rata by day. Invoices are issued through our accounting provider and are paid by the methods shown on them; we do not store card numbers. Price changes apply only to future billing periods, never to a period already paid.

Where a plan covers a capacity (a number of units, as defined on the service's page), you may use the service up to the capacity your plans cover; to use more, add capacity first.

Renewal, cancellation and refunds

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the current price for that plan, unless cancelled before the period ends. You may cancel at any time from the billing page in your account, or by writing to [email protected]. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and your paid features run to the end of the period you already paid for; we do not pro-rate part-used periods.

Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or we agree otherwise in writing, for example a billing error on our side or a material failure of the service we cannot remedy. We correct an amount invoiced in error with a credit note.

If an invoice is not paid when due, we may suspend paid features until it is paid. When a paid plan ends, your data is not deleted: you keep read and export access to your content, though features and limits that require a paid plan stop applying.

Data protection

Our Privacy Policy describes what we process and why. Where we process personal data on your organisation's behalf, we do so on its instructions under a data processing agreement, which we sign on request. If you put personal data about other people into the services, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and for giving them the notices they are owed.

AI output

Some features use AI to produce suggestions, such as drafts, answers, summaries, readings of documents and suggested actions. Review them before relying on them: they are not guaranteed to be accurate, so anything with formal or legal weight needs checking. AI output is not legal, tax, accounting, financial or other professional advice.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the services at any time and ask us to delete your account and its data. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, a security risk, non-payment or a legal requirement; where practical we give notice and a chance to export your data first.

Disclaimers and liability

The website and the services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows. Sigma AI is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total aggregate liability is limited to what you paid for the affected service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute. Mandatory protections of the law where you are still apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We publish material changes here with a new effective date, and we record the version you accepted. Continuing to use the services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
