Platform

Everything an AI agent needs, from first draft to production

Sigma manages the whole life of an AI agent: you build it, approve it, secure it, deploy it and watch it work, with your knowledge, your systems and your rules built in.

The agent lifecycle

One platform, every stage

Most tools cover one step. Sigma covers the whole cycle, so the controls travel with the agent from the first draft to every conversation it has.

Capabilities

What you get, stage by stage

Everything below is in the product today. Items marked Roadmap are planned, not shipped.

The lifecycle

Build

Turn a job description into a working agent, no code needed.

  • Agents from instructions, skills, tools and documents
  • Assist builds agents with you in conversation
  • Versioned skills reused across agents
  • OpenAI or Anthropic model, chosen per agent
  • Switch models without rewriting the agent
  • Hand-offs between agents in one conversation
  • Preview and test before approval
RoadmapMore model providers, including self-hosted

Approve

Nothing reaches your people until someone has signed it off.

  • Draft → approved → published lifecycle
  • Each approval freezes the agent's configuration
  • Tools and skills locked while it is live
  • Full revision history; agents archived, never lost
  • Environments and deployments approved too

Secure

Every conversation contained, every credential kept out of reach.

  • One isolated NVIDIA sandbox per conversation
  • CPU and memory limits on every sandbox
  • Network closed by default; only allowed systems
  • Model keys never enter the sandbox
  • Encrypted vault; credentials used only when needed
  • Uploaded skills scanned before use
  • Platform guardrail on every agent

Deploy

Run approved agents where you choose, at the scale you need.

  • On-premise or in your own cloud account
  • Separate environments for test and production
  • People use their permitted agents in one Assistant
  • Scheduled runs
  • External API with expiring keys
  • Service accounts for integrations and schedules
  • Limits on tool calls and concurrent sandboxes

Observe and improve

See every session, stop any session, account for every token.

  • Every session with transcript and timeline
  • Tool calls, approvals and errors traced live
  • Stop any session instantly
  • Deployment health: errors, latency, uptime
  • Usage by person, API key and model
  • Assist reviews real sessions and proposes fixes
  • Test cases stored per agent

Across every stage

Knowledge

Cited answers from your documents, limited to what each person may see.

  • Shared document Spaces with folders
  • Answers cite the passage they came from
  • Folder-level access inside a Space
  • Answers limited to what each person may open
  • Full history for every file
RoadmapLocal vector store and embeddings

Connect

Connect agents to systems with a REST API or an MCP server, on your terms.

  • REST tools on your existing APIs
  • MCP servers, scoped per agent
  • Built-in document search and reading
  • Shared and personal credentials, with consent
  • Publishing refused if a system isn't allowed
RoadmapSigma inside your other systems (browser extension)

Govern

Decide who does what, approve what matters, and prove it later.

  • Security groups plus per-record access
  • Human approval on sensitive actions
  • Audit log of state-changing actions
  • Explain anyone's access to any agent
  • Token quotas per group and model
  • Central password policy

FAQ

Questions about the platform

How does an agent get approved before it goes live?

Every agent starts as a draft. A reviewer approves it, which freezes a snapshot of its configuration, and only an approved agent can be published into an approved environment. Any later change needs a new approval.

What happens if a conversation is manipulated?

Each conversation runs in its own isolated sandbox. Keys and passwords never enter it, and the network is closed except for systems you allowed. Together with approvals and the platform guardrail, this limits what a manipulated agent can do, and you can stop the session at once.

Can we audit what an agent did?

Yes. Every session keeps a transcript and a timeline of tool calls, approvals and errors. State-changing actions are recorded in an audit log, and each agent keeps a history of who approved and published it.

How are credentials handled?

Credentials are stored encrypted and used by the platform only when a call needs them, and each use is recorded. Model keys and people's passwords never enter the agent's sandbox.

Is what runs exactly what a person approved?

For actions on your own APIs, the approved call is the only one that can run. For MCP tools, any difference between what was approved and what ran is detected and flagged in the audit log.

Can different teams have their own agents?

Yes. Each agent, Space, folder and tool has its own access list, so a team can build and share agents only with the people and groups it chooses. Business units can also have separate environments.

How do we monitor and control usage and cost?

Token usage is recorded on every model call and reported by person, API key and model. You can set token quotas per group and model, and cap tool calls on each deployment.

Can agents run without a person in the conversation?

Yes. A published agent can run on a schedule or be called from your systems through the API. It always acts as a named person or a service account, and API keys expire.
