Anatomy of this agent
An agent is instructions, skills, tools and knowledge. For each request it decides which of them to use; there is no fixed flow. Sensitive actions wait for a person’s approval.
Instructions (excerpt)
You prepare first drafts of answers to RFPs and security questionnaires. Read the attached RFP, list its requirements, and draft an answer to each using only our approved answers and past proposals, found with Company Search. Cite the source for every answer. If our approved content doesn't cover a requirement, or only partly covers it, mark it NEEDS EXPERT and say what is missing. Never invent a certification, a customer, a figure or a delivery date. Follow the response format in your skill.
Skills
- rfp-response-format: compliance matrix layout, answer length rules and house style (SKILL.md)
Tools
- Read Document (native tool, chat attachments)
- Company Search (native tool, over Spaces)
Knowledge (Spaces)
- Approved answers library (Space, folder per topic)
- Past proposals, final submitted versions (Space)
- Security and compliance answers (folder restricted to the bid team and the security office)
Needs a person’s approval
- None: the agent drafts in chat and has no tool that sends or saves anywhere
What this agent does
Bid teams answer long tenders with short deadlines, and many of the questions were answered in an earlier bid in slightly different words. Most of the effort goes into finding the last good answer and adapting it.
The agent finds and adapts the approved answers, shows where each came from, and marks clearly what needs an expert.
